AstraZeneca is investing in data management and analysis capabilities, through its long-term Growth Through Innovation Strategy. The DS&AI team collaborates across R&D to drive innovation through data science and AI. Together we seek to:

The R&D Data Office, within DS&AI, is a key organisation to deliver upon AstraZeneca’s strategy. Data Office operates a central capability, with R&D wide accountability, to ensure that we harness the power of data to drive innovative science. Data Office will govern data, drive data quality and ensure our data is readied for analytics, crafting paved-paths for scientists to perform data-driven research, without compromising our legal restrictions or ethical principles.

Within Data Office, your role is Data Provisioning Lead, a member of a dedicated Data Provisioning Operations team. In this role you will coordinate end-to-end activities associated to Data Provisioning including: Collaborating closely with partners; performing risk assessment associated to data-sharing, with emphasis on AstraZeneca’s four sharing principles; business sensitivity, legal rights, ethical and scientific merit; and coordinate cross-team activities to achieve delivery outcomes.

Crucially, your role will drive the maintenance and improvement of the four sharing principles to make data available for re-use within or outside AstraZeneca.

To be successful in this role you must have excellent critical thinking skills, enjoy succeeding in task-orientated goals, and be able to communicate with partners from different experience levels and cultures.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Coordinate data provisioning requests and associated information.
- Ensure that data requestor needs are met as each request goes through the process.
- Assess requests and assign an appropriate service level for request fulfilment
- Responsible for tracking progress of request, ensure relevant information is gathered as part of request and responsible for keeping each request running smoothly.
- Acting as a central coordinator for projects requiring cross-functional activities, including arranging, hosting and minuting meetings, coordinating actions to-time and to-task.
- Monitor request progress, handle and seek mitigation for any issues that might arise.
- Work with the Data Provisioning team and other partners to eliminate blockers.
- Ensure data sharing standards and requirements are met, bringing in other specialists where clarifications are required.
- Use tools to monitor progress on requests.
- Support the Data Provisioning team in considering ways to improve processes and value to our customers.
- Contribute to department metrics on performance efficiency

**Minimum requirements**
- Proven work experience as a Project Leader/Manager or similar role
- Ability to handle partner requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must have a high level attention to details
- Excellent communication skills, an ability to create relationships with many different levels and cultures and be detail focused.
- Some experience in project management
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- BSc in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Leadership Core Capabilities: Influencing, innovation, business awareness

**Preferred experience and key factors**
- Experience from Pharma industry is a plus.
