Quest is an award-winning IT management software provider offering a broad selection of solutions that solve some of the most common and most challenging IT problems. We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our Quest MSP sales team based in the UK and Ireland.

This role is an an inside sales role responsible for selling the breadth Quest’s Data Protection software solutions to Managed Service Providers across EMEA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sell Quest’s Data Protection portfolio of solutions including backup, storage, and disaster recovery technology.
- Acquire new customers (Managed Service Providers) and develop existing accounts with a combination of sales hunting, development, and closing techniques.
- Initiate conversations with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to introduce Quest Data Protection solutions.
- Develops a territory/region/account base to attain financial objectives.
- Understands customers’ and partner business and solutions requirements.
- Territory/regional account management, including account planning and sales forecasting.
- Represents a balanced sales effort of software products and services knowledge and selling skills.
- Customarily and regularly engaged with decision makers, primarily over the telephone.
- Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account, including channel and all aspects of the customer related ecosystem
- Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Quest software products and services.
- Advises customers/Quest on strategic business and technology plans.
- Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry, the Quest business model and competitors.
- Assesses potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions. Develops product solutions for customers.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years expereince in a similar inside sales position
- Self-motived, high work ethic, result driven individual
- Demonstrable ability to both farm and hunt as required.
- A high call rate combined with evidence of creative deal-making is essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of solution and value-based selling techniques
- Ability to sell to high-level decision makers using articulate value propositions
- Ability to develop long-term strategic and high-level relationships.
- Business and financial acumen
- Fluent in English. Additional languages are an advantage but not required.
