Platform Engineer - Up to £100,000 - Immediate start

My client is a global media organisation headquartered in London and NY and is the parent company of a host of iconic world brands.

As a company their content reaches over 80+ million consumers in print media and 400+ million in digital media each month. They are looking for an experienced and passionate Sr Platform Engineer to join the team to design and build a completely new infrastructureplatform that will support hundreds of millions of users a month and serve every engineer and brand globally. You will be contributing to the architectural design of the Kubernetes environment from proof-of-concept all the way through its life cycle and provideend-user support for Dev teams.

The ideal Platform Engineer will have:

- Experience creating, deploying, and managing Kubernetes containers (EKS or on-prem)
- 3+ years hand-on experience with at least 1 public cloud provider (AWS preferable, GCP & Azure beneficial)
- Working knowledge of Linux environment
- Experience using IaC tools and techniques (egTerraform, Ansible, CloudFormationetc.)
- Extensive experience in programming languages (Python, Golangetc)
- Deep understanding of software architecture and design
