IT Project Manager - Hybrid/remote role - Canary Wharf / East London to £60,000 (£66,000 package) plus great benefits, discretionary bonus etc.

Global client has a great opportunity for a hands-on Technical IT Project Manager with proven experience of leading and delivering various IT projects (Infrastructure or development) using Waterfall and Agile methodologies (MS Project and ITIL beneficial.Your responsibilities are to lead and ensure delivery and management of IT projects (including software upgrades / Infrastructure refresh, Cloud) within scope or may require change management to deliver.

As an experienced IT Project Manager you are required to take control of the project delivery teams ensuring they deliver within scope/on budget hence your primary responsibilities are to initiate, plan, execute, control and close projects, develop, planand control the project plans ensuring that project goals are accomplished in line with business objectives. You are responsible for the PID, initial Project Plan, preparing project status reports and where the delivery is outsourced to a Vendor taking fullresponsibility of the Vendor/SME’s project team members.

As an IT Project Manager you will review Project progress, propose corrective action where necessary, determine goals, time frames, procedures for accomplishing project, allocation of resources, own and maintain the Project Risk and Issues Register, managechanges to the agreed deliverables, scope, cost or timescales ensuring that any impacts are managed and stakeholder communications plan are reviewed prior to distribution. You will have previous a good understanding of both Infrastructure and SDLC althoughthis is a non-technical role.
