Atkins are currently recruiting for a Fleet Supervisor to support the Procurement/Category Management function within the day to day running and contract management of its lease vehicle requirements, and daily vehicle rentals. The overall purpose of this role is to become established as a core member of the procurement team. The individual will be required to provide support to the Category Manager to provide day-to-day administration of the companies leased vehicle fleet, and daily vehicle hire requirements, dealing with internal stakeholders and the lease vehicle contract supplier.

You will support the sustained delivery of optimum supplier performance in line with agreed Service Level Agreements and support the management of all commercial activity in relation to the Fleet category portfolio.

You will be required to develop and maintain appropriate relationships with colleagues across the business as well as with suppliers.

Main responsibilities:

- Answering internal/external stakeholder queries and questions
- Assisting HR with vehicle enquires and advising on variance to standard employment terms and conditions in relation to company vehicle polices, and disputes
- Manage day-to-day requirements of existing supply contracts
- Supplier Management administration
- Providing support to procurement team members
- Help maintain web portals/supplier communications
- Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support the delivery of projects and contract management
- Analyse and track fleet costs and report/advise on trends and solutions.
- Managing and owning fleet queries log mailbox
- In life and end of life vehicle damage recharge investigation and authorisation
- Assist the Fleet Supervisor for North American Fleet requirements, and cover essential tasks when required
- Ad Hoc project work as and when required by your line manager
- Contribute ideas to help continuous improvement

There may be limited instances where travel in the UK and overseas may be required.

What can you bring:

- Ideally some experience of working within a corporate contract management function or has the desire to do so.
- Experience in a Fleet Management environment role would be preferred
- Strong influencing and negotiating/contract management ability and able to demonstrate excellent planning, organisational and administration skills
- Computing skills, including word processing and the use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages)
- General management and interpersonal skills to participate in a positive culture and collaboration within the procurement team
- Good communication skills to be able to communicate effectively at all levels internally as well as with external suppliers
- Well organised with the ability to manage your own workload proactively
