As a Barclays BOC - BUK - WM&I, you will support the Chief Compliance Officer for Barclays UK through delivery of the Barclays UK Compliance plan. You will review the distribution channel activity for investment and pensions products and services offered by Barclays, including day to day issues and thematic work. You will work with a variety of stakeholders across the business, other functions and Barclays Compliance teams to oversee the delivery of business strategy.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Providing day-to-day compliance and conducting oversight of the Barclays UK business, focusing on the oversight of the Barclays UK WM&I business
- Providing conduct related guidance and advice on the development of products, services and supporting technologies including an assessment of related regulatory risks
- Identifying, managing and escalating conduct risks and risk themes within the business
- Maintaining an awareness of the Barclays UK business strategy to ensure robust oversight is provided and lead for Compliance on projects of strategic importance for the business
- Demonstrating ownership of issues, ensuring they are logged and tracked to conclusion and escalated to senior management where appropriate
- Assisting in the successful oversight of the One Compliance Risk Assessment and Risk and Control Self-Assessment for a given coverage area
- Supporting regulatory information requests ensuring all requirements are responded to, logged and actions satisfactorily met
- Assisting the broader team in driving a positive Compliance culture within the business and progressing the Compliance Strategy
