The Group Event Executive is an integral member of the hotel sales and events team.

The role provides a variety of group administration related tasks, including the end to end sales process for assigned group only bookings and enquiries. The Group Event Executive has ownership for the administration of contracted bedrooms on behalf of the hotel (and cluster as required). Liaising with sales, events and revenue to support optimum pricing, group ceiling and inventory controls to drive profitable business. Is the key driver of group forecast accuracy for hotel (and cluster as required).

Delivers an exceptional telephone sales experience and adheres to sales and event brand standards for enquiry handling pre and post event. Prepares all group documentation and coordinates with sales, hotel departments, and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases of hotel event

Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding experiences.

May be required to support with reactive sales.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar operation (preferred)
- Previous work in a reservations or sales team environment
- Excellent MARSHA and Yield Management technical skills
- Strong communicator and presenter with excellent analytical and numerical ability
