**Warehouse Technician - Pre-Commissioning**

**Brief**
Warehouse Technician needed to join an innovative traffic technology organization based out of their site in Hemel Hempstead. Our client has an international network of production facilities and partners across the globe, offering solutions in; urban trafficmanagement, highway and tunnel management, and public transport, connecting vehicles with the road infrastructure to boost electro-mobility.

As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for pre-commissioning the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging units in the warehouse before they are installed on sites in the UK.

It is desirable for the successful Warehouse Technician to have sound electrical experience and a good understanding of computing and network environments.

**Overview**:

- 37.5 Hour Week
- Monday to Friday Shift Pattern
- Optional overtime

**What the role entails**:
Some of the main duties of the Warehouse Technician will include:

- Maintenance of the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging units and other equipment as specified.
- Visual inspection of equipment and installation, test of charging mode protocols, cleaning of product etc. Indicating any faults found while commissioning the charging units.
- Aid with the development and testing of products; ensuring to provide input and knowledge surrounding the products to help improve the product itself, including the manuals and service.
- Able to load software on to the EV chargers and update when necessary.
- Complete all documentation surrounding the charging units accurately, clearly and concisely.
- Liaise with client staff and inform them of the progress.

**What experience you need to be the successfulWarehouse Technician**:

- Electrical experience, preferably with Electric Vehicle Units, but training will be provided.
- Computing and Networking experience with a sound understanding of different software packages.
- Technical qualifications/experience relevant to the role.
- Ability to work in a pressured, client-controlled environment.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Be able to commute to the warehouse daily.
