NMB Minebea UK Ltd., are part of the Rod End & Spherical, Fastener Business Unit, part of the mechanical components division of MinebeaMitsumi Inc. Rod end and Spherical bearings and components are manufactured here in Lincoln, with further manufacturing facilities in Japan and USA, and a sizeable support factory in Thailand. **Job Summary**:
Working as part of the Quality team, you will ensure that through various inspection methods, product meets customer requirements.
Where required you will compile quality reports, and work within automated Inspection Cell
The role will also require you to set up and run the part marking process
**Main Responsibilities and Activities**:
Inspection of finished product to meet customer specification
Inspection of intermediate product ensuring correct specification is met
Compilation of quality reports where required
Automated Inspection Cell
Set and run the part marking process
Where required work within other areas of the Quality department
Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- **Essential**_
Ability to use various inspection equipment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
Ability and willingness to work within a team
- **Desirable**_
Engineering knowledge base/ background
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Computer literate
Possess strong organisational skills
**Shift Pattern - 37 hours per week**:
- Day Shift _(No Premium) Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 16:00pm & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
