Information Security Manager **About the Role** Security Operations Specialist Level: 4 Department: Group Technology Solutions Location: Southampton, England or Newcastle, England Contract type: Permanent Our Security Operations Specialists are primarily responsible for Security Services Monitoring, Security Incident & Issue resolution and Service Management & Improvements. As part of Security Services Monitoring you will conduct monitoring and testing activities for a variety of security services, and escalate security incidents in response to changes in status. You will also conduct vulnerability scanning activities and assesses the impact of changes to known vulnerabilities. As a Specialist, you will be able to recognise potential intrusion attempts and compromises, and seek to improve Quilter's technical defensive capabilities. You will perform Security Incident Response activities by recording and reporting security incidents, logging activities into the incident management system, and support issue resolution and restoration of services. In this role you will also support Information Security Services tuning and improvement to ensure they are operating as intended, and identify appropriate controls or functionality in existing technology to minimise risk to Quilter. **About You** Applications from people with diverse backgrounds enables our inclusive organisation to thrive. You will ideally be an experienced Security Operations Specialist, or have similar experience gained in a matrix organisation within a regulated industry or financial institution. As an agile thinker, you will be able to adapt to changes quickly and use your excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders with confidence. Ideally you will have gained any one or more of the following qualifications: - CISSP, CISM, A-ISAP or equivalent desired - Firewall / WAF / DLP Management / Administration - Qualys Vulnerability Management - Relevant Microsoft professional certifications - CCNA (or equivalent). - Our purpose is to help the generations today and tomorrow to prosper.
