Could you be our Chief People Officer? We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced HR professional to join our Trust; someone aligned to our values with focus on collaboration, being aspirational, respectful and empathetic.
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is an ambitious organisation with a focus on excellent patient care. Our teams operate across two acute hospital sites, a community hospital in Peterlee and a number of other community-based hubs employing 5,500 staff who provide integrated hospital and community based services.

You would be accountable for a clear people and organisational development strategy which enables staff to deliver high quality healthcare to patients and clients through providing a positive and productive organisational culture and a fair employment offer. As a member of the Executive Team and Trust Board, the Chief People Officer will contribute to the delivery of the Trust’s strategy and organisational objectives, positively advocate the core values gaining ongoing commitment to these at Board level and with key stakeholders across the system, and along with colleagues, role model the desire culture, behaviours and values.

Operating as a key strategic leader and corporate director, the Chief People Officer will work closely with the Chief Executive, Board Members, Executive Team and senior leaders to advise, develop and implement innovative approaches to the people agenda at all levels across the organisation.
The CPO will ensure staff feel they have a collective and individual voice, support leaders to engage, motivate and inspire their colleagues so that all staff can flourish at work, realise their potential and demonstrate our core values, placing ‘people at our heart’.
