**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will contribute to supporting our residents and participants to achieve their personal goals and achieving positive outcomes by offering a flexible, recovery focused accommodation service for women experiencing multiple and complex needs. You will support our residents and participants to establish weekly routines, develop their life skills, and become more self-reliant, so they can move on to independent living in the community. You will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve more safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders.

**Rota**: Monday to Friday shifts can include: 08:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00, and 14:30 - 10:00.

**ABOUT THE SERVICE**

Brighton Women's Service is a women's only residential project providing support to 18 women. The service has a Trauma Informed approach using a Psychologically Informed Environment Model. Our service focuses on providing a high quality, person centered support to all our residents.

**ABOUT YOU**

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion and felt purpose to help people, challenge stigma, and make a real difference to people’s lives, ideally with experience of working with adults who are vulnerable and have multiple and complex needs.
We are looking for a team player, driven to provide high quality care and support to others, an effective communicator who is able to build rapport with others from various backgrounds. You will be compassionate, supportive, and empowering to others, whilst able to form effective, positive and motivational relationships.

**OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Deliver a person centered, recovery focused approach to support a caseload of residents and participants with relevant interventions to support with independent living.
- Contribute to the development of support plans, risk assessments and reviews.
- Encourage residents to develop social networks and undertake meaningful activities to assist them to develop positive coping mechanisms.
- Explore resettlement options for residents and support them with this move through to independent living.
- Ensure consistent communication throughout the teams.
- Ensure our residents understand their rights and responsibilities, with access to the right tools and resources to support them back into society and build networks.
- Develop strong internal and external relationships.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support, including life skills training.
- Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent a crisis.
