Staying Well is an innovative new service offering out of hours support to people experiencing acute distress due to their mental health difficulties.
- Open 7 days a week (including bank holidays), the Staying Well service is staffed by a mix of Recovery Advisors and Peer Workers, providing psychosocial support and crisis prevention planning. This includes proactively contacting clients who have been referred or self-referred to the service to build crisis plans together, increasing resilience and coping skills.
- You will provide brief interventions designed to help people deescalate and manage their emotional distress in the short term and work to get people linked in with wider networks of support to aid in their recovery.
- This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing a new service and to contribute to the development of our mental health services within the county.
- All roles involve working until 11pm at night and will include weekend working on a rotational basis. This role will be based at our Preston Park Recovery Centre in Brighton.
- You will be supported in your role by the Staying Well management team. Full training and induction will be given.
