We report the noise and track performance of flights to the regulatory authorities and to local stakeholders through regular meetings of our Noise and Track Monitoring Advisory Group, and other forums.

**What is the role?**

As the Airspace Office Analyst at Gatwick, you will work as part of our CAPS team to fulfil the data collection, analysis and reporting requirements, utilising the airport noise and track keeping system, for aircraft track keeping, noise monitoring and nightflights. These are regulatory requirements set by the DfT and noise indicators which contribute towards the Decade of Change and Section 106 planning agreement.

**What will you do?**
- Responsible for the data collection, analysis and where appropriate reporting, of the full range of tracking keeping, noise and night jet monitoring requirements.
- Creating reports, briefings, analysis and responses to a range of requests and enquiries - from senior members of the leadership team, GAL stakeholders and external stakeholders such as the DfT or CAA - concerning aircraft noise and track.
- Assist in managing the Noise and Track Keeping system, ensuring that data and information integrity is maintained to the required standards.
- Act as the point of contact for arranging and co-ordinating documents for regular stakeholder committee meetings, to ensure meeting take place efficiently and followed up actions are captured.
- Responding on behalf of the business to aircraft noise complaints and enquiries from members of the public in a timely manner.
- Supporting the Airspace & Noise Programme Manager to progress aircraft related noise improvement projects including airline engagement programmes, automating reporting, modelling the noise environment, and producing publicly available noise dashboards.

**Do you have what we're looking for?**
- Experience of airspace, Air Traffic Control, airport and/or aircraft operations highly desirable.
- Familiarity with acoustics, noise monitoring and noise reporting.
- Practised in writing a range of material including, for example: detailed formal reports, formal letter writing and responses to requests for information.
- Skilled in interrogating data and reports and setting out compelling, evidence-based arguments.
- Experience of collaborative working across and outside a business and with multi-disciplinary government/regulator/industry teams (and preferably with local stakeholders).
- Experience of stakeholder management and cross-functional collaborations.
- Accomplished at providing high quality customer service, occasionally in demanding situations.
