We have an exciting new opportunity to work for a highly respected multinational insurer based in the City of London who are seeking a Senior Underwriting Technician.
Expectation of the role:
- Handle multinational business
- Processing of technical information
- Acting within agreed operational and underwriting authorities
- Responsible for checking and authorising the data processed by Underwing Technician and Assistant Underwriting Technician.
Role Requirements:
- 5 Years' experience within the insurance industry
- Good understanding of multinational programmes implementation
- Experience in multiple line of business (Property, Liability, Marine, Cyber, Motor)
- Good understanding about underwriting policy construction and insurance cover and the terminologies used.
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Leadership Skills to help support junior members within the team
- Be numerically confident
- Able to train colleagues with technical knowledge
- It is an essential factor that ACII studying is undertaken
Qualifications/Education:
- CII studies (minimum to Certificate Level)
- A Level or equivalent qualifications
