Senior Staff Nurse

One of the worlds leading renal care providers that provides a holistic approach to care is looking for a Senior Staff Nurse in Havant. Along with a salary of up to £40,153 per annum, you will also receive you will also receive a £3,000 sign on bonus,overtime paid at time and a half (after completing full-time hours), paid breaks, internal development and career progression opportunities, 35 days holiday (inclusive of 8 days Bank Holiday) increasing with service, Christmas and New Year’s Day off, correctlyfitted an tested PPE, free uniform, a flu vaccine, Life Assurance, an employee benefit scheme via Perkbox, visa sponsorship, and a pension scheme and a referral scheme paying up to £1,000.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse who wants to make a difference in patients’ lives. You will provide patient care according to procedures with the aim to increase their quality of life. A comprehensive professional training program will be provided,including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to the in-house education program.
**As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will**:
- Undertale the role of Nurse in Charge and deputise for Clinic Manager when required
- Provide a mentorship approach to the team, empowering patients, qualified nurses, and other staff to share knowledge and skills
- Take ownerships of care programs for renal patients and perform assessments to ensure ‘great care’ is provided at all times
- Preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with processes
- Reviewing pre and post haemodialysis care with patients
- Participating in quality and service improvement programs
**We are looking for a Senior Staff Nurse who has the following skills and experiences**:
- To be a NMC Registered General Nurse
- Strong experience in a renal dialysis setting
- Awareness and Understanding of NMC code of professional conduct
- In possession of/or working towards a post registration clinical course in Renal
- Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent)
- Ideally have a Mentorship/Teaching Qualification
- Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective delivery of care
- Excellent communication skills
Please note that for this role you must be able to work clinically in a renal setting.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, shift hours from 07:00-23:00 with no nights or Sunday working.
