I'm supporting a business in the **CB8 area of Suffolk/Cambs** who is increasing their Customer Service team due to unprecedented growth

The vacancy is for a '**Senior Customer Service Advisor'** - for which I'm looking for someone with previous B2B office experience, and preferably someone familiar with a **chemicals related laboratory or well educated in Chemistry**.

The business is very interesting. They provide a range of analytical testing services on a whole range of environmental matter.

This local facility is part of the UK & Eire division of a global network of laboratories services, trading in a huge range of countries and employing thousands of staff. It's a very robust business who have continued to trade seamlessly though the pandemic

**More about the job**:
You will be working as a member of 6 Customer Service Advisors, who all act at the customer interface, and as a go between the sales team, laboratory technicians and logistics teams regarding the efficient distribution of sample equipment, turnaround ontest times and issuing of result reports.

**You will have to**:

- Prioritise work flow and keep track of turnaround time scales to ensure customer expectations are met
- Oversee efficient collection and delivery of sampling equipment and materials
- Obtaining, prepare/format and issue results back to customers
- Maintain accurate information in the CRM database
- Support and up-skill other team members
- Work in a methodical process way to ensure consistency and operating procedures are adhered to
- Resolve customer issues, manage expectations and deal with matters arising
- Support the Customer Service Manager, and occasionally represent at Operational meetings

- Excellent computer skills - using multiple system platforms
- Accuracy of work, pays attention to details
- Good organisational skills and ability to multitask
