**Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated female Support Worker to join our team in delivering high-quality care to an individual suffering from sight loss. This role is crucial in supporting our clients' daily needs and promoting their independence. the hours are 16 hours per week but overtime is available
**Responsibilities**
- Assist client with daily living activities, including shopping, cleaning and meal preparation and attending appointments.
- Drive the clients car to all activities and appointments
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients during their rehabilitation process.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor clients' progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote independence
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a caregiving role, preferably within a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong understanding of sight loss and other related conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to enhancing client well-being.
- Basic first aid certification is highly desirable.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
