To use strong facilitation skills and relationship building to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students. To support the Recovery College Manager and team in delivering the College core business with a focus on principles of recovery, social inclusion and developing opportunities for life beyond illness. The post holder is expected to tutor a mixture of online facilitating and classroom-based facilitating. To develop and review of courses including chairing and participating in quality assurance panels to assess suitability of new courses being added to the timetable.
To ensure The Recovery College provides a high quality, evidence-based service that is focused on Personal Recovery and the principles that underpin it in line with the Recovery College Operational Policy. To have learned experience of a broad range of the Recovery College timetable topics and be able to evidence knowledge of practice in facilitation of the courses. Specifically, courses based on a wide range of mental health conditions and therapy-based courses. The post holder will use their clinical experience, skills and knowledge within a healthcare setting to complement the personal recovery narratives, skills, experience and knowledge offered by peer tutors.
Post holder must be able to travel in an efficient way.
