We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the SHEQ (Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental) department of our manufacturing client based in Rotherham. You will be joining their state of the art modern manufacturing facility working as part of a small team of 4 and will be reporting into the SHEQ Director. This is a new role within the business due to recent growth within the department. Day to day Administrator responsibilities will include:
Provide admin support in maintaining and updating Health, Safety and Quality documentation including records, policies and procedures
Organise and maintain databases
Booking internal and external training courses
Producing training certifications
PPE control and monitoring
Raise purchase orders
Update training records
General administration including booking meeting rooms, arranging refreshments for courses
Due to the nature of the role and environment there may be times where you have to go onto the shop floor to gather information so you must be comfortable doing this.
**The successful SHEQ Administrator will have**:
Intermediate IT skills including Word, basic Excel and Outlook
Previous administration experience within a busy department
Experience of working with an internal database
Ability to work independently and to deadlines
Up to £24,350 per annum, depending on experience
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am - 3.30pm
22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days over 5 years
