Activate Learning are looking for inspirational and resilient individuals who are passionate about making a difference to join our growing Intervention Progress Coach team, working to restore effective learning habits and behaviours, and supporting the employability and progression of our students.
These opportunities have arisen through specific central government ‘catch-up’ funding to support learners, as disrupted learning has meant that students are out of the habit of learning and require support adapting to an education environment, post Covid. The role of the Intervention Progress Coach is to work 1:1 or with small groups of students who require support to engage successfully with their programme.
**What do you need to be successful in this role?**
You will have some experience of working with teenagers or young adults within a school/youth work/college or relevant environment. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver coaching sessions as well as inspirational group sessions to a diverse range of learners.
You will be empathetic, resilient and confident in supporting students to develop their employability skills and promoting positive behaviours. Ideally, you will have experience of coaching and mentoring individuals in work readiness, employability, or careers.
