This 8a post is part of a new and integrated partnership model between Buckinghamshire CCG (BCCG), Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) Macmillan Clinical Psychology Service and Healthy Minds (IAPT in Buckinghamshire provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust). The goal is to create a comprehensive psychological stepped care pathway (NICE, 2004) for people living with and beyond cancer and their families.

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with colleagues across a system. You will need to be skilled in and enjoy working and collaborating with various professions and will have knowledge of psycho-oncology work and experience of working psychologically with people with long term conditions.

You will be one of three BHT clinical psychologists (8c, 8b and 8a) who will work in partnership with Healthy Minds (Buckinghamshire IAPT). You will be involved in training IAPT psychological therapists who will then train primary care clinicians to provide Level 1 and 2 psychological care. Your primary clinical work will be to provide Level 4 psychological care for people with complex needs. Part of this role is also to provide clinical supervision of the psychological therapy provided by IAPT psychological therapists across this pathway.
