Power Networks & Multi Utility
Reading RG1, Watford WD25 and Swindon SN16

We have an immediate need for 3 Construction Managers to oversee the Site Delivery of power networks, utility or telecommunication projects in Reading, Watford or Swindon.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key external partners, designers, contractors, sub contractors, employers agents, etc. to ensure construction projects are completed on time and on budget in line with good procedural, legal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure the project site standards are of the highest level and are in line with all relevant requirements and standards.
- Monitor the progress of construction works and amend the methodology in light of unforeseen circumstances to ensure that overall completion dates are met
- Actively participate in all team meetings ensuring communication of changes affecting Safety, methodology or logistics
- Constantly review the build quality achieved ensuring that the contract's requirements in this regard are fully met
- Ensure accuracy of prelims with regard to safety, logístical issues and the management of environmental risks
- Produce and manage the delivery schedule
- Pre-planning and development of the site safety strategy, including all aspects of logistics.
- Responsible for provision of a build ability and construction operations perspective to the review of all package tender documentation and decision making
- Develop delivery metrics for all key trades packages and, ensure that actual delivery outputs are measured and reported
Your experience will include:
- Delivery of multi £ million Utility or Power Networks projects, ideally High Voltage Cable installation
- Site Management of critical Power Networks or Utility programmes within the UK
- HNC or equivalent higher level qualification, or commensurable equivalent professional experience
- Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel to other sites and projects as required
- Eligibility to work in the UK without restriction
