Job Title: Front of House Staff

Location: Fishburn Airfield

**Salary**: maximum £12.50 per hour

/ Part-time

About Us

We’re a brand-new café, opened in August 2025, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced front of house staff to join our founding team. Our focus is on high-quality, local ingredients and delivering rustic, delicious, and visually beautiful food and drinks in a warm, welcoming environment.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a café from the ground up - shaping the cafe experience and building a great atmosphere for customers and staff alike.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve a range of espresso-based drinks and hot/cold beverages to a consistently high standard
- Engage warmly with customers and contribute to a welcoming front-of-house environment
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment confidently
- Maintain clean and organised coffee and service stations
- Help with food or kitchen support if needed (training provided)
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures (training provided)
- Seat guests at their tables and engage in conversation, making them feel welcome
- Confidence using a POS system is favourable
- Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth, friendly service

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a busy café or hospitality setting
- Understanding of preparation and equipment
- Passion for great customer service, and presentation
- Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers
- A true team player - happy to help where needed across the café
- Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
- Food hygiene certification is a bonus, but full training will be provided
