**The Company**

For over 45 years GTEC has provided compressed air solutions to industry. Our core products are industrial air compressors, air treatment equipment, distribution products (pipework and point of use), gas generation equipment and associated services.

Operating across many industries including food & beverage, medical, packaging, waste management and more GTEC make a real difference to many businesses across the South-East UK.

**Job Role**

The primary purpose of this job is to fulfil stock requirements for all business operations, control stock, handle goods in/out, manage the stores, process supplier invoices and maintain & develop relationships with our supply chain.

Daily tasks will include stock control, purchasing, goods in/out, preparation of stock for upcoming works, processing supplier invoices, hiring of tools/plant required for upcoming works and the return of unused stock into the stores.

This is a fast paced, busy environment where no two days are the same. Organisation and constant communication with our suppliers, engineers and the rest of the team is absolutely essential to the success of the department.

**Essential Skills / Experience**
- Outgoing and confident personality who enjoys building and maintaining relationships
- Forward thinker with solid organisational skills
- In-depth knowledge of stock management and goods in/out procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of the purchasing administrative process
- Strong IT skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Solid mathematical foundation
- Willing and able to work on your feet, operate pallet trucks to move heavy loads and move large volumes of stock
- Forklift licence is preferred

**Essential Experience**

2+ years experience in a stores role

2+ years experience in a purchasing role

2+ years working with stock management software

**Salary**: £27,500.00-£30,750.00 per year
