About Us

A rice bowl-focused restaurant brand that brings authentic Japanese cuisine to a modern audience. As we expand into smaller store formats, we are looking for a reliable and independent Store Operator to manage one of our compact outlets.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and can independently manage both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations in a small, fast-served food service environment.

Job Overview

The Store Operator will be fully responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the store, from food preparation and service to cleaning, inventory, and reporting. You will be the face of the brand and ensure that every customer enjoys a smooth and consistent Yari Club experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Daily Operations

  2. Handle all BOH and FOH duties, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and cashiering.

  3. Open and close the store independently, following company SOPs.
  4. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization at all times.

  5. Customer Service

  6. Provide warm, efficient, and professional service to every guest.

  7. Manage customer feedback with a positive and problem-solving attitude.

  8. Inventory & Stock Control

  9. Monitor ingredient and packaging stock levels.

  10. Place restock requests to the central kitchen or supplier when needed.
  11. Keep accurate records of daily sales and usage.

  12. Quality & Brand Standards

  13. Ensure all food and drinks are prepared according to Yari Club's recipes and presentation standards.

  14. Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and quality.

  15. Reporting & Coordination

  16. Submit reports on sales, inventory, and operations to the head office.

  17. Communicate regularly with the head office for any updates.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in small-scale restaurant or café operations preferred.
  • Ability to manage both kitchen and customer service duties independently.
  • Basic knowledge of Japanese or Asian cuisine is a plus.
  • Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be comfortable working alone and handling multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene best practices.

Why Join Us

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a full store operation and grow with us as we expand. You'll have the autonomy to run the outlet independently while being supported by our management team.
