If so, we are looking for a Operations Manager to join us, on a full time, permanent basis, to be based out of the Runcorn site managing our Kawneer contract.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
The salary on offer will be up to £32,100. We also offer 25 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pensionand many other benefits.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Take full operational accountability and responsibility for your site, effectively managing your time to ensure a safe and efficient service
- As a true people manager, you will focus on ensuring that your colleagues receive the right level of support, coaching and development
- Manage the relationship between XPO and our customers, constantly communicating across various stakeholders
- Ensure that all teams are aligned, operating to XPO standard policies and procedures
Support the Contract Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence
- Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the customer updated
Working closely with the onsite customer on a day-to-day basis, you’ll support with period reviews and customer presentation in the contract managers absence.
- Provide leadership and guidance for your team to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication

**What you need to succeed at XPO**:

- Ideally, you’ll already be a Transport Manager or have Transport experience in a 3PL environment, looking for the next step
- Great People Management and Leadership skills
- International CPC holder - essential
