**Vacancy: Teaching Assistant - Fylde Coast, Lancashire**
(Learning Support Assistant / Special Support Assistant)
We are looking to recuit an experienced Teaching Assistant for our client, an excellent, well established, independant school based on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire.
Due to expansion, our client is seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join their already settled team working with pupils ranging from 2 to 18 years old.
*Be qualified to level 3 or above in teaching and learning support.
*Possess a good general education including GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above.
*Demonstrate evidence of having worked with children.
Qualifications in ICT, safeguarding level 2, and first aid qualifications would all be extremely advantageous for a learning support assistant/teaching assistant, as would experience of working with children with SEN (primary/secondary school age).

Advantageous skills for the successful teaching assistant include a genral knowledge of working with children with special educational needs (SEN), and experience of working with / caring for children with disabilities.
