We are a friendly GP surgery based in the Maidstone area, looking for a part-time (20 hrs) Medical Receptionist, to join our team. You will be involved in dealing at the front desk as well as dealing with administration work to improve patient care and support practice to achieve targets.
Our core opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6:30 pm. We offer enhanced services on Mondays (6:30 to 8pm ) and on Saturdays (9am to 5pm) occasionally with our PCN.
Your working hours will be on rota basis which can include AM (8-1pm or 8:30 to 1:30)and PM (1.00 to 6 or 1:30 - 6:30) shifts on either at our Shepway Branch or Grove Green Branch. You will be required to work on enhanced service hours on a rotational basis (once in 7 weeks) with enhanced pay.
Medical Receptionist will be responsible for helping to maintain a friendly but effective first-line of patient contact, deal with patient requests appropriately, navigating and sign posting to the right team, follow our systems and protocols and keep the practice presentable and safe and ensure that you maintain confidentiality at all times.
