This family develops, refines and implements the financial policies, plans, measures and controls to safeguard and accurately report on the financial results of the business

**Job Summary**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Uses data from a wide range of sources to analyse and report on key performance measures, including management and recovery of aged debt
- Identifies, manages and reports on business risk associated with billing and credit processes. Ensures effective process controls are in place, understood and applied by team members and the business
- Evaluates credit, billing or collection procedures, making recommendations for policy, process or operating system improvements. Plans and delivers change, demonstrating effective return on investment for all improvement initiatives and ensures solutions meet business requirements and is aligned to overall Finance strategy
- Contributes to development of the overall Finance strategy, using specialist expertise and insights to ensure that the strategy meets business needs
- Manages and reports on the performance of the Billing and Credit team. Sets appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and holds them accountable for achieving these. Takes appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team and personal objectives
- Uses Survitec’s formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plans and implements development actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build professional capabilities. Provides informal training or coaching to others throughout the business, to enable others to improve performance and fulfil personal potential
- Delivers a budget for Billing and Credit, conducts complex analyses on budget progress organization
- Establishes and maintains relationships with individual or business customers or aid with problems these customers may encounter
