**Job Title**: Infrastructure Security Engineer / Network Security Engineer

**Working Model**:Remote (Attendance may be requested to London offices if essential)

**Contract Length**:Initial 6-months (highly likely to be extended)

**About the Client and the Role**:
My client, a household name organisation, are expanding their internal Security Operations team and are seeking 3 x Engineers to join the team on an initial 6-month basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting security functionality throughout product lifecycle
- Ensuring IT infrastructure is monitored, maintained, and enhanced
- Support, maintenance, monitoring and analysis of security systems and tools
- Recognising gaps in security and recommending course of action
- I mplementation of security tools and processes
- Ensuring security policies, security standards and technical standards are adhered to
- Understanding security risks and assisting in the escalation and mitigation procedure
- Investigating and escalating complex and high-priority incidents with the SOC team
- Perimeter and host security intrusion
- Assisting with Vulnerability Management and Data Loss Prevention
- Implement system back-up, DR procedures and policies for all security controls
- Strong background in Network / Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure e.g. Azure / AWS
- Vast knowledge of enterprise infrastructure
- Hands-on experience implementing Security Tools
- Experience documenting complex projects
- Related Security Certification (desirable)

**Tech Stack**:

- **Vulnerability Management tools **(e.g. Tenable Nessus)
- **Cloud-based technologies** (e.g. Defender, Cloud App Security, KQL, Azure, AWS, GCP)
