**Why this job matters**:
To ensure that all deployments are effectively scheduled, planned and executed in accordance with the Change Enablement processes and procedures with clear business impact assessments clearly captured and communicated.
Additionally, aspects of this role contribute to the successful outcome for all IT change audit requirements for ICOFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting), PCI and other audit requirements limiting the risk of unauthorised change activity within the BT IT estate. The job influences security programmes within BT Networks which have an impact on change management and compliance within BT. It helps internal and external audit teams in the provision of information and evidence of IT Change detection processes and, in addition, supports change management policy using the tools and processes as required.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Day to day management of the IT Change Enablement function using the appropriate tools, processes and procedures.
To manage and control the Change Enablement activity and to support the continuing delivery and protection of a high performing, world class service.
Recommend innovative courses of action for improvement to the benefit of Service, the wider BT and third-party suppliers.
To provide analysis where IT Change performance or process is below expected standards. To influence and effect key change stakeholders to improve change performance, such as the LCM and SRE community.
Deliver Change to the standards expected of ISO20000, Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) and other audit disciplines.
All audits to achieve green status by agreed dates.
To support the Change community with education, improvements and changes to the process and procedures.
To use CSI techniques to identify opportunities and drive improvements against service and productivity KPI and goals.
To own the efficiency and effectiveness of the end-to-end IT Change process.
To generate new ideas to drive innovative ways of working with the teams.
Operation of quarterly key controls when and where appropriate.
Support the IT compliance team during audit periods with evidence gathering.

Ability to work with a wide variety of people from technicians, deployment managers, change coordinators.
