Pet Crematorium

Due to expansion we are looking for a crematorium assistant to help with a variety of jobs within our busy pet crematorium on a part time basis. TUESDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY MORNINGS (On a rota) 1 in 5 Saturdays expected. 16-20 Hours per week. £12.00 ph

A typical day will include:
Assisting in the crematorium; running the machines, ensuring ashes are collected and boxed in the correct way.

Adhering to all Health and Safety measures within the crematorium and ensuring you are working in a safe way.

Driving duties, which may be collecting animals for cremation, or delivering cremated animals back to their owners. Training will be provided on collecting horses which will also be a part of the role.

Housekeeping duties on site; keeping the crematorium clean and tidy, helping to maintain grounds and communal areas.

Any other duties as reasonably requested.

Although an unusual role, it is highly rewarding and involves strong customer service experience as we work alongside people are suffering from the loss of a beloved pet.

Generous rates of pay and holiday allowance with the ability rot work overtime.
