Our DCC business unit is a key component of our consulting services and firmly established as a UK market leader. We currently advise on a diverse client base which spans corporate and trustee bodies across a wide variety of business and industry sectors, as well as local government pension schemes and other public sector clients.

As part of our continued growth we have identified a requirement for a DC Associate Consultant to join the DCC business unit. Our associates play a key role in supporting the work of the DCC business unit and providing practical support to client facing consultants.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Formulating advice for peer review by consultants on all aspects of defined contribution consulting including pension scheme vehicle advice, investment advice, at retirement advice, pension benefit design and provider platform assessments
- Day to day point of contact for clients
- Delegation of work to more junior members of the team and checking of work completed by more junior members of the team, with a strong focus on attention to detail
- Ensuring client delivery expectations are met through managing timely completion of assigned work by yourself and client team members
- Develop a network and build relationships with both internal and external contacts
- Uphold our quality standards, policies and risk management procedures
- Adhering to the firm's Information Security standards, policies and procedures
- Responsible for careful time recording and allocation to appropriate client and job codes

Qualifications/Experience:

- First class IT and word skills (in particular Microsoft Excel)
- A minimum of a strong degree in maths, economics, or another other numerate discipline, or equivalent

- Project management and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent team player and able to work on own initiative
- Committed to further study and professional development (either Actuarial exams or CFA) is an advantage
