Are you able to help build a Service Desk to handle a company's growth?
We're partnered with a business based in Preston who are looking for a Service Desk Manager to build the Service Desk function, and steer it through a phase of maturity. The role is 5 days a week on-site due to its nature.
**Role**:
- The day to day running of the internal service desk.
- Management of the incident queue.
- Management of key metrics.
- Ensure the knowledge base and processes are known & followed.
- Process design & improvement.
- Introduce new services.
**Experience**:
- A strong background working on or managing a service desk.
- Experience & knowledge of ITIL & working in an ITIL environment.
- Proven track record in a similar role.
- Good customer relationship building skills.
- Clear understanding of what good looks from a service desk perspective.
- An analytic mind-set, focus on metrics & KPIs.
- Be driven and not complacent - have the focus to build & grow a service desk.
Unfortunately the role does not offer visa sponsorship, you must be fully eligible to work permanently in the UK.
