Senior Broker

This is a 100% home based role, suited to individuals looking for autonomy and flexibility. Our client (quality insurance business) has created this opening due to a concentration of existing commercial clients in the South West region (mainly in and aroundKent).

In this role you will inherit a portfolio of existing commercial clients made up of a wide variety of risks with annual premium spends from smaller up to £100k+ including some really interesting and relatively complex clients. The role will involve a mixof desk based client meetings (via Zoom or Teams) as well as some client visitations.

As a business, our client operates in a highly professional manner, establishing extremely close relationships with their clients, not only acting as a broker, but also providing an enhanced risk management and claims service.

Ideal applicants will be smart, professional and have a natural inclination to provide an exceptional level of service and advice. It is essential that you have a strong all round commercial insurance knowledge, preferably with ACII or progress towards andhave previously used Acturis system.

There will be regular team meetings with your colleagues (Via Zoom) and you will be expected to travel to HQ once a month (Yorkshire) for a team catch up.

As well as managing the existing clients, we would be keen to hear from individuals who are able to grow the portfolio over time, by picking up some new business or by attracting some of your own clients over.
