**The role**

The Bureau Data Analyst is accountable for providing data analysis helping LASER Bureau customers to achieve their energy management targets. LASER's Bureau services are key to helping customers understand their utility usage patterns and associated carbonemissions and costs.

The Bureau Data Analyst will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve any blockers preventing proactive reporting.

**Key Duties**
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and processes to ensure you are providing consistent, concise and regular internal and customer communication.
- Identify and assess Bureau customers' needs and requirements to create and provide bespoke reporting and management information.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
- Follow Quality Assurance processes to ensure standard and bespoke reporting is precise and accurate before being provided to Bureau customers.
- Analyse energy data for allocated Bureau Customers using M&T software; reviewing and highlighting anomalies or unusual patterns, providing advice to resolve areas of concern.
- Raise queries with customers and suppliers to resolve data anomalies and concerns.
- Work with the Customer Service Team to collaboratively manage your customers and provide a value added service.
- Work closely and proactively communicate with the Data Quality Analysts to deliver an excellent all-round end to end Bureau service.
- Use M&T software and Microsoft packages to analyse produce graphs and reports detailing validation results, energy usage and cost.
- Develop an understanding of relevant energy policies, such as the Streamlined Energy Carbon Reporting (SECR).
- Help promote the Energy Bureau service to existing and potential new customers
- Develop and maintain an awareness of the energy industry and significant national and international policies relating to Climate Change. Attend training events and seminars as appropriate.
- Think innovatively and identify and put forward suggestions for process improvements across the team and LASER as a whole.
