As you begin your journey into the world of merchandising at Neptune, here's just a few of the important skills we are looking for: - Managing all line cards for the department and be responsible for all core line forecasting and reorders - With an exceptional eye for detail, you'll analyse sales, trading and stock trends along with monitoring product shipping dates - Your natural affinity for working with statistics and spreadsheets, backed up by intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, will really be put to the test - Confident interpersonal skills will really help too, as you'll communicate with lots of people who are critical to ensuring that goods are received on time - An organised approach to reporting on container load plans, purchase orders, packing lists, invoices and lots more is an absolute must Life here moves quickly and you'll bring energy, enthusiasm and drive along with a "can-do" attitude and a desire to "get stuck in". That said, you'll ideally have previous experience within similar level role in Merchandising and very be methodical, with a love of numbers and be a complete whizz on MS Excel, but most importantly aspire to deliver above and beyond the call of duty.
