Shifts Mon-Fri 35 hours p/w Hybrid Remote (3 Office Days, 2 Working from Home)

Location: Scotts, Swindon, SN3 5JF

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our team. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the product categories owned to achieve sales and margin targets whilst delivering end of season target stock levels. Provide support on accurate planning, forecasting, buy plans and in-season trading covering all sales channels. Work closely with rest of the Buying and Merchandising department to effectively share common goal workloads, ensuring tasks are carried out in a timely manner with high accuracy.

**Job Role**:

- Provide input, thoughts and support on Range planning guidance; size and shape of categories, NOOS, Continuity and New styles.
- Help maintain key spreadsheet that detail range plans and forecasts down to SKU level.
- Support tasks that detail intake and cover level planning for the season.
- Help create and maintain detailed Line Cards and Never Out Of Stock planning, flag risks and opportunities observed.
- Help run and prepare data that feed reports for Weekly Trade Meetings on categories owned and deputise for Merchandiser when required.
- Review Chase/Place/Cancel/Defer in reaction to sales on a regular basis and suggest actions.
- Assist with WSSI management, flag any foreseen issues or potential opportunities.
- Manage spreadsheets detailing key season events such as Mid-Season Sale and End Of Season Sale.
- Support with production of data and reports on Lessons Learned and Monthly Performance roll-ups.
- Help assess Retail stock holding and suggest actions for best use of stock within the business.
- Help check Home Shopping brochures, ensuring all details such as colour inclusion and price are 100% accurate.
- Raise all POs required and help maintain expected dates weekly.
- Assist with product set-up at key periods of the season, pushing for complete accuracy.

**Skills & Experience**
- At least 2 years’ experience within a Merchandising Department.
- Strong Excel background.
- Highly accurate with an ability to work at pace
- Strong team-work ethic, background of working cross-functionally to deliver results.
- Strong communication skills

Preferred
- Homewares Merchandising experience in similar businesses.
- Experience sourcing both longer leadtime and faster turn-around products

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
