CK Group are recruiting for a Bio-samples Business Manager to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 6 months.
**Salary**:
Up to £500pd Ltd, this role is outside IR35

**Location**:
Cambridge and remote working. This role would typically be on site 2 or 3 days per week with the rest of the time home working. This site is one of the most exciting bioscience hotspots in the world. It is the largest research and development centre in theUK, designed to hold more than 2,000 people working across therapy areas and drug discovery and development.

**Bio-samples Business Manager Role**:

- Lead key business and people processes including scorecard preparation, succession & talent planning, rewarding performance, risk management and corrective action planning
- Facilitate development of Bio-samples business strategy, recommend and implement actions to achieve short and long term goals
- Ensure robust demand, capacity and time management across the function to meet the current and future needs of the portfolio.
- Lead Bio-samples functional budget to ensure annual spend is delivered to target
- Prepare business plans to achieve continued investment into Bio-samples

**Your Background**:

- Scientific/Business degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of drug and/or diagnostic development processes
- Proven experience in capacity management and working with demand and supply processes
- Understanding of the clinical sampling processes and the overall clinical study process
- Proven experience in capacity management and working with demand and supply processes
