**What will I be doing?**

To ensure that the highest standards of food and beverage and hospitality are demonstrated at all times by:

- Completing all relevant procedures in relation to the respective department as laid down by the company.
- Promoting the desired work culture around our company values.
- Delivering food and beverage service of a high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
- Developing departmental standards and procedures to promote sales and beverage creativity and profit
- Communicating to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information
- Delivering daily briefings and attends other food and beverage meetings as scheduled
- Delivering training sessions in line with a departmental monthly training calendar
- Carrying out effective service by ensuring all staff are aware of their role
- Carrying out effective beverage service
- Patron care and standards are adhered to
- Cellar operations are carried out
- Training food and beverage assistants in basic beverage knowledge and beverage service
- Complying with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the Employee Handbook
- Actively participating in training and development programmes and maximise opportunities for self-development
- Demonstrating service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards
- Understanding and anticipate guest needs
- Maintaining a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience
- Demonstrating a service attitude that exceeds expectations
- Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
- Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge about all Cycas Hospitality hotels and Marriott Hotels Group hotels in your region
- Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety

**What we are looking for?**
- 3 years previous experience of a supervisor role
- Customer service experience
- Previous experience within a similar role within a hotel environment
- Ability to supervise and direct a team
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to plan and prioritise
- Attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Able to work unsupervised
- Customer Focus
- Proven track record in previous role to deliver results, budgets, profit etc
- Understand hotel/Company standards, products and services
- Literate in computer technology
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries
