Personnel Selection is currently recruiting for a Paint Assistant to join one of our clients based on Andover Hampshire Outskirts. This is a Permanent position and you will joining an existing team due to an increase of workload. Our client hires out largeindustrial equipment to various industrias for commercial and domestic use. Due to the company location, You will need your own transportation as sadly no public services run to this area.

**JOB FUNCTION
As a site-based Painter and General Assistant your primary role will be providing support to the build and refurbishment team by undertaking the preparation and painting duties of industrial equipment and preparation and painting of industrial shipping containers.You will also assist in other duties within the department including cleaning engineering items, maintaining the highest standards for cleanliness, health and safety, and general labouring. This role is a key enabling role that will allow our engineers tobe the best they can be through effective depot and service labour support.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Applicant would ideally have previous experience of metal preparation and industrial painting, although training will be given.
- Applicant must be able to follow instructions, carrying out manual jobs and always ensuring safety on site.
- Happy to undertake manual work.
- Assisting in other duties within the department including cleaning and general labouring.
- Ability to work safely.
- Able to listen and carry out desired actions A ‘get it done right first time’ attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Tidy work ethic and good attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with all systems, procedures and processes
- Work under own initiative and as part of a large team.
- Well organised.
- Up to date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Customer service focus (internal & external).
