Simply Education, a leading educational recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful SEND school in the Boston area.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant in this SEND school, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with a range of special needs. Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one assistance, facilitating group activities, and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You'll work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that each student receives the tailored support they require to thrive academically and socially.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEND, or in a care setting with young adults who have additional needs.
Possession of a driving license is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents/carers.
A genuine passion for working with SEND students and a commitment to their holistic development.
