System Monitoring and Reporting:
- Regularly check that all sites on the access control system are online and operating with the correct time and date.
- Report any issues to the EDC Control Room and follow through with the internal process.
- ID Card Management:
- Produce ID cards for new employees.
- Replace lost or faulty ID cards once approved by the appropriate manager via the online form.
- Replace stolen ID cards.
- Update staff access levels upon approval from the appropriate manager through the online form. Handle leaver requests by deactivating IDs and requesting the return of ID cards.
Access Control and Security:
- Run daily reports on failed entries into buildings and investigate if any are due to former employees attempting entry, escalating to the appropriate manager if necessary.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports on access control activities.
- Manually verify that all employees listed in the weekly leavers report have been deactivated in the system. Add new starters to the system prior to their arrival to ensure seamless onboarding.
Data Accuracy and Housekeeping:
- Ensure data accuracy and up-to-date information in the access control system for internal audits. Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain the integrity of the access control data.
Communication and Coordination:
- Report any discrepancies to the Campus Security Manager or Duty Security Manager. Run ad-hoc access reports upon request by the Campus Security Manager, Duty Manager, or Client.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in using access control systems and generating reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining a high level of security and confidentiality.

- **Negotiation and Relationship Building**:Ability to negotiate and build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- **Attention to Detail**:Methodical, numerate, and grammatical with the ability to produce professional business documents.
- **Flexibility**:Willingness to work outside of normal office hours as required.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or customer service-led environment.
