**Main duties of the job**

Working within a small, close-knit supportive team of procurement professionals on a wide and diverse range of contracts for the supply of goods and services for Acute Hospitals, with a focus on quality and value for money.
- Work with stakeholders to define the specification and requirements for goods and/or services
- Engage with the market where appropriate to identify suitable suppliers
- Recommend contract award ensuring documentation is available
- Participate in overseeing contract delivery

The position is an excellent development opportunity for an individual who is keen to progress their procurement career and the post holder will be encouraged and supported to achieve the level 6 CIPS qualification.
