**Paid Search Manager**
Reports To: Head of Global Digital
**Role Summary**:
The Paid Search Manager will be a key player in this expanding team, to help champion digital in the business, pushing the online agenda wherever possible and will have confidence to interface with key senior level colleagues across the business to help educateand influence decision making.
The primary purpose of the Paid Search Manager is to plan, develop and optimise the strategic acquisition of new customers across key and emerging markets via our paid search & shopping channels, overseeing the executions, working alongside our agency partnersand deliver upon marketing plans. Identify and seek new opportunities, test them thoroughly to generate and scale new customers and sales through profitable growth.
The role would also require you to support multiple business areas, including retention & brand marketing, web mechanising and retail with the aim to running effective, overarching, digital campaigns to drive growth across the business.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership in reviewing, developing, and project-managing all PPC campaigns, strategically driving scale and growth, across multiple markets.
- Manage at least one junior direct report to nurture and develop with the aim in upskilling their analytical & PPC skills and support on key campaign initiatives.
- Proactively identify new online opportunities to help acquire new customers and improve acquisition KPIs.
- Build P&Ls for these new opportunities and gain financial approval.
- Must have a data centric mind set and plan & lead on testing initiatives using robust methodology.
- Owning the test & learn approach.
- Responsible for in-depth reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly performances.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, agencies, and 3rd parties i.e., Google and our agencies to ensure the business has access to the best levels of service and new technology.
- Work with the product feed agency to push for improvements to increase sales through shopping and marketplaces.
- Work alongside brand team to plan, implement and report on brand awareness campaigns.
- Collaborate with the UX team on CRO, to help improve onsite performance sourced from PPC channels.
- Review the content plans, and coordinate creatives messaging in tune to the brand voice.
- Set and manage the budgets and have responsibility for achieving budget numbers within agreed spend levels.

**Experience Required**:

- Paid Search experience, preferably from an agency or retail business.
- Strong experience in Google Shopping and CSS.
- Understand how to leverage audience signals to improve campaign reach.
- Experienced user in GA or Adobe Analytics, with a good ability to derive actionable insights.
- Must have managed multi-million annual budgets.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking essential. Expect high proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent campaign planning and project management experience.
- Excellent time management skills to work to tight deadlines and manage change.
- An ability to work independently but also collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Experienced manager who can help to develop junior team members as well as lead by example.

**Technical Skills**:

- Hands on expertise across affiliate networks, Google Ads, Bing & Facebook
- Bid management software
- Strong knowledge in Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
- In-depth knowledge of product feeds and Merchant Centre
- Tag management experience
- Use of audience management tools preferable and/or a solid understanding of segmentation and personalisation
