**Location**:Whiteley

**Apprenticeship Wage**:£12,675 per annum

**Fantastic Hours**: Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5pm

**The task at hand**: The Finance Apprentice will work within the Finance Department combining work experience, on and off the job training including the completion of an AAT qualification. The Finance Apprentice will begin working within the Credit Control team within the Ledger Department and will also be encouraged to undertake job rotation across the wider Finance department to gain a broad range of experience.

**What you’ll be busy doing**:

- Support credit control process ensuring money is collected on a timely basis
- Build and maintain customer relationships with debtors
- Administer copy invoice requests
- Ensure correct and accurate information on customer accounts is maintained at all times
- Check and authorise customer accounts
- Process credit card payments
- Obtain all back-up information and checks on the legal accounts
- Speaking with Customers and Supplier over the phone
- Follow company processes and monitor dunning system
- Work with the Legal team to maintain spreadsheets and send letters
- Provide weekly expected payments report with corresponding progress notes
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss collection progress and resolve any issues
- Identify risk indicators of bad debt in the early stages and liaise with Account Managers and Credit Control Manager
- Other possible responsibilities beyond the Ledger Finance team:

- Spending time with the Commercial Finance Team
- Spending time with the Management Accounts Team
