You will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager in delivering contracts that are robust, free from risk, legally binding and importantly cost efficient and effective.

Ensuring that DCHS can demonstrate to the public through the scrutiny of internal and external audit, that it obtains best value for money on its contracted non-pay expenditure and achieves savings targets.

The Procurement Department is looking for a customer-focused, methodical, enthusiastic Senior Buyer with good communication and negotiation skills.

You will be part of a dedicated Procurement Team responsible for negotiating and managing a variety of contracts and framework agreements for the provision of goods and services to DCHS.

You will work with the Contract Manager, suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage the contracting process end to end, to ensure that all interested parties needs are met.

The Procurement Department is looking for a customer-focused, methodical, enthusiastic Senior Buyer with good communication and negotiation skills.

You will be part of a dedicated Procurement Team responsible for negotiating and managing a variety of contracts and framework agreements for the provision of goods and services to DCHS.

You will work with the Contract Manager, suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage the contracting process end to end, to ensure that all interested parties needs are met.

You will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager in delivering contracts that are robust, free from risk, legally binding and importantly cost efficient and effective. Ensuring that DCHS can demonstrate to the public through the scrutiny of internal and external audit, that it obtains best value for money on its contracted non-pay expenditure and achieves savings targets.

You will ensure compliance with Public Procurement Regulations 2015 and DCHS Standing Financial Instructions.

Previous NHS experience would be an advantage.
