They have been trading for over 40 years and sell everything from Beds, Chairs, cushions/ throws etc. Due to growth they are seeking a Junior BuyerJob DescriptionAssist in sourcing and purchasing products in line with company requirements.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.Monitor market trends to identify potential opportunities and cost-saving strategies.Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers.Work closely with other departments to align procurement with business needs.Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all purchasing activities.Assist in managing stock levels and inventory control.Provide regular reports on procurement activities to senior management.The Successful ApplicantA successful Junior Buyer should have:Previous experience or knowledge in the retail industry or procurement.A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.A solid understanding of market trends and supplier dynamics.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.Free parking available on-site.Hybrid Working, 1 day from home a weekPermanent position within a respected company in the retail industry.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
