**The Role**

As an HGV Mechanic you will be responsible for maintaining the Company’s fleet of HGV vehicles. You will service, prepare for PSV, periodically check and generally maintain the fleet. Duties include:

- Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance.
- Prepare HGV and trailers for PSV
- Conduct regular servicing.
- Respond to roadside breakdowns.
- Communicate professionally with drivers.
- Complete administrative duties when required.

**Your profile**
- You must be a qualified or time-served HGV vehicle mechanic
- You must have demonstrable knowledge and proven record of HGV maintenance and repair.
- You must be able to work to deadlines in a busy and demanding garage, have excellent problem solving, analytical, organisational and decision making skills.
- You should have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Class 1 HGV licence is desirable but not essential
- Previous Volvo experience advantageous
